Yaavarum Nalam – Review

I usually go to movie on Friday night every week and this is happening for the last 5years. We (I & Karthik) just go a local theatre near to my home where we can get tickets without any problem. We watch all movies on the first day of release as most of the movies will get released on Friday.

Last Friday as a usual routine we went to the theatre to watch a movie (interesting part of this is we generally decide the movie only after reaching the theatre) and decided to watch “Yaavarum Nalam” on that night. We have no idea about that movie so we didn’t have any expectations either.

Very rarely do you get to see a movie that's not just logical and has good performances, but comes with a deliciously intriguing thriller. As all good thrillers do, this one too begins with a happy family. Matters get more complicated when a new TV serial appears every afternoon at exactly 13.00 hours on Eye TV, and bizarre events start a roller-coaster ride that somehow end up influencing real life.

The story is the king here and was well narrated. The debutant director Vikram K Kumar has given us a perfect thriller with proper sequence of events and perfect screenplay. Music in the movie is worth a mention. It is neither too quiet, nor too loud. We really enjoyed the movie after long time and I recommend this movie to all movie goers who love to watch a perfect thriller.

I too enjoyed the real thrill in the movie... Even though there is no logic it had some impact on the viewers. As thala said the back ground system and camera are awesome!!!
